Born in 1968 in Edmonton, Alberta, John Fawcett has directed many episodes of Power Play, including the premiere, Perambulate Me Back To My Habitual Abode. He is also the director of the films The Boy's Club, the cult favourite Ginger Snaps, and the TV movie Lucky Girl. He is currently working on the movie The Dark.
Fawcett has also worked on such series as La Femme Nikita, John Woo's Once A Thief, Queer As Folk and Steven Spielberg Presents Taken. He has also directed such commercial videos as Labatt Genuine Draft and Nestle Crunch, and music videos for the Cowboy Junkies, Jeff Healey and Lori Yates. He now owns a production company in Toronto.
