BIO
Born in 1953 in Toronto, Paul Quarrington has been involved with arts all of his life. From the early days as a musician and composer, to his paiting and his writing, Quarrington seems to excel at everything. Since his first popular novel Home Game, he went on to publish King Leary, Whale Music, and in 2004 Galveston, to name a few.
In film, Quarrington has written several screenplays including Whale Music, Giant Steps and Perfectly Normal, the latter becoming a huge underground cult film around universities and colleges and introduced Power Play's Michael Riley in his first cinematic role.
For television, Paul Quarrington has been a frequent writer for Due South and John Woo's Once A Thief. In 1998, he took his love of sport and hockey in particular, to the small screen as Executive Story Editor for Power Play.
Right now, Quarrington is working on Lifetime TV's 1-800-Missing reuniting him with many other Power Play crew members.
