Dean McDermott
BIO

Dean McDermott has starring roles and guest appearances in more than 30 films and 15 television productions. In addition to his role in Power Play, Dean McDermott is best known for his role of Constable Turnbull in the popular television series Due South.  He also had a recurring role on the Sci-Fi series Tracker as Det. Vic Bruno and a starring role in the first season of Lifetime's 1-800-Missing as SAIC Alan Coyle.

He was also a guest star in La Femme Nikita, The Outer Limits, F/X: The Series, and Blue Murder, among many others.

He received a Gemini Nomination for Best Supporting Actor in 1997 for his portrayal in  "Lives of Girls and Women".  His other movies include "Rookies", "Iron Eagle IV", "Bone Daddy", the2001 remake of "Brian's Song", and the TV movie "Stolen Miracle".

Recently, on the big screen, he was in "Open Range" with Kevin Costner and in "Against the Ropes" with Meg Ryan.


On Power Play, Dean McDermott plays the role of Mark Simpson.
