Born in Mississauga, Ontario on September 14, 1964, Greg
Spottiswood is a busy actor, writer and filmmaker. Greg attended
the National Theatre School in Montreal and has been acting professionally
since the age of 17, both in Canada and in the United States..
Prior to his recurring role on Power Play, Greg already
had an extensive list of television credits including a role in Fast Track;
and guest-starring roles on Once A Thief, Kung Fu: The Legend Continues,
Forever Knight and The Commish, to name just a few. He also starred
in the TV movie Looking For Miracles, alongside Zachary Bennett and
Joe Flaherty, which earned him a Daytime Emmy Award and a Gemini nomination
for Best Lead Actor.
Following his passage on Power Play, Greg guest starred
on Wind at my Back and Total Recall 2070. He went on the play in The
Mary Kay Letourneau Story, Anne of Green Gable: The Continuing Story, and
The Moving of Sophia Myles. More recently,
Greg was seen in the TV movie DC 9/11: Time of Crisis, the movie The Snow
Walker and the CBC series This Is Wonderland.
His theatre experience includes roles in productions
of Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?, Featuring Loretta, and The Zoo Story.
On Power Play, Greg Spottiswood plays the role of Joe Harriman.
