Jennifer Dale
BIO
Jennifer Dale was born on January 16, 1956, in Toronto,
Ontario. She attented the National Theatre school
in Montreal when she was eighteen years old and went on to join the
Stratford Festival company. The versatile
Jennifer Dale's prolific career now spans four decades : she is one
of Canada's most familiar faces.
Among her many television
projects, Jennifer starred to acclaim as a turn-of-the-century con woman
in the 1985 CBC miniseries, Love And Larceny and seven years later in its
sequel, Grand Larceny.
Prior to Power Play, she starred as the Director in the
series John Woo's Once a Thief and was part of the cast
during the second season of "Side Effects" as Dr. Liz Anderson.
She also guest starred on numerous shows, including The Twilight
Zone, Ray Bradbury Theater, Forever Knight, Due South, and more recently,
Mutant X and Monk.
In the movies, she starred in Robert Lantos' Suzanne (1980), for
which she won praise, and also Separate Vacations, Whale Music, and
Full Frontal, among many others.
She has been nominated 6 times for a Gemini Award, and
in 2003 she received the Earle Grey Award, which is presented to an
individual for their exceptional body of work as an actor and their
significant contribution to Canadian Television.
