The tall and talented Jonathan Rannells has been in show business for over 10 years.  In the 1990s, after spending a few years doing plays, he toured Canada with the comedy duo "Sweet Potato".   He was nominated in the 2000 Gemini Awards for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Supporting Role in a Dramatic Series for Power Play.

On television, Jonathan was seen guest starring in Earth: Final Conflict and in TV movies such as The Jennifer Ireland Story and This Matter of Marriage.  Following his role on Power Play, Jonathan had a recurring role on the short-lived CBC series P.R. and guest starred on This Is Wonderland, starring Power Play's Michael Riley.

On the big screen, he had a small part in the movie Dick, with Michelle Williams and Power Play co-star Mark Lutz.
