Todd Maplethorpe
BIO
Steelheads Player
#22 - Left Wing
Todd Maplethorpe is a generous player with a great deal of heart. Born
in Saskatchewan, his road to the majors started when he played junior hockey
in Swift Current, SK and Brandon, Manitoba. He led the Canadian Juniors to
a Gold Medal in the 1994 world Championships in Helsinki.
Maplethorpe earned his nickname "Terminal Todd" because he is not afraid
to mix it up in the corners or along the boards and will frequently drop
the gloves. On top of that he is a talented player. In each of his three
seasons with Hamilton, Todd has scored over fifty points, and logged over
300 minutes per year in the penalty box.
His hobbies include fishing and drawing.
