Everything Is Broken :
Brett realises he is losing everything : Colleen thinks he seduced her to get his job back, Michelle is leaving for school in England, and he faces extradition to the US. Duff (Gordon Pinsent) asks a favor from a friend in the government (Sheila Copps).

Resign or Re-sign :
Brett plots his revenge against everybody who ever crossed him, but especially Colleen; Shakey has to retire because of his bad knee, and the government moves in the Steelheads offices thinking they acquired a fishery.
Episode #16
Manipulation :
Duff and Colleen gets their first taste of how things will be with the government running things. Brett wants Mark Simpson (Dean McDermott) as a client. Rose (Krista Bridges) decides to write a book about Brett and she goes shopping with Renata (Lori Alter).
Episode #17
Evasion :
Brett wants to keep his relationship with Rose a secret and Renata stages an "intervention" to stop them from seeing each other. The police is looking for Brett; Colleen and Mark meet in a bar after he got in a big fight during a game.
Episode #18
Temptation :
Michelle comes back from England married to Hudson James (Jonathan Crombie). Maplethorpe gets in trouble over a racial slur. Rose discovers that Hudson used to be married to a pop star, and Brett wants to bring the Roller Derby to Hamilton.
Episode #19
The Truth :
Brett wants to represent Maplethorpe, but so does Hudson, so he uses Rose to get information he can use. Colleen suspects Samantha's (Jennifer Dale) motives for dating Duff. Brett tells Michelle about Hudson's previous marriage.
Episode #20
The Jumper :
Duff plots to get his hockey team back, but SM3 Sexsmith is not going to let that happen. Rose wants to know what's going on between Brett and Colleen. Everybody tries to help an ex-Steelhead who threatens to jump off the rafters.
Episode #21
The Mask :
The team suffers from the government's new equal opportunity hiring practice. Duff re-hires Brett to get rid of SM3 Sexsmith after finding out his plan to drive Coach Strand crazy. Michelle stays in Hamilton after a fight with Hudson.
Episode #22
Foolish Hearts :
Brett wants to hire an expensive Russian player to help the Steelheads make the play-offs, but that would mean using Duff's money. Colleen hires Shakey as the new Steelheads coach after Mark suggests it.
Episode #23
The Quarter Finals :
The league inquires about the Steelheads' funding, which worries Duff and Colleen. Michelle wants Hudson to do something nice for Brett and he does so by getting the charges against him dropped.
Episode #24
The Cubicle :
Brett and Colleen continue to heat things up, although she doesn't want anybody to find out. There's a rumor going around that one of the players might be gay and it badly affects the performance of the team. Duff and Samantha announce their engagement.
Episode #25
The Finals :
The Steelheads are in the finals, Colleen finds out who the mole is and tries to hide it from Brett. Duff prepares for his wedding to Samantha. A woman (Mary Jo Eustace) stalks Simpson claiming to be his wife. Guy Lafleur drops by Copps Coliseum.
Episode #26
What It All Meant :
Brett gets Rose fired after she finds out that Duff is missing. Shakey is back as goalie for the last game of the finals. Colleen breaks up with Brett and he sees the ghost of someone that was very close to him.
