Matthew Bennett is best-known to Canadian TV audiences as Detective Len Harper on the police series Cold Squad, a role for which he was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2003. Matthew was born in Toronto on April 9, 1968 and moved to Vancouver when he was 20 years-old to attend theater school and pursue acting. Six years later, and after guest starring on episodes of The X-Files and The Commish, and appearing in the TV movies a A Killer Among Friends, Anything for Love and Relentless: Mind of a Killer, he returned to his hometown where he become one of the industry's busiest actors.
Matthew Bennett also had recurring roles on the USA Network's hit series Peacemakers as Steward Harrison; and on the series Total Recall: 2070 as James Calley, head of a special police internal-affairs unit. He has guest starred on such series as UC: Undercover, Seven Days, Due South, Da Vinci's Inquest and Stargate SG-1 and was part of the 2003 miniseries Battlestar Galactica for the Sci-Fi channel. His films include Far from Home: The Adventures of Yellow Dog, Pushing Tin, Ignition and Stealing Sinatra.
