Sean McCann is a veteran of dozens of movies and television shows over a 40-year career in showbiz, and he's also a part-time amateur baseball scout for the Blue Jays.
Born in Windsor, Ontario, Sean McCann was a baseball pitcher in his youth and dreamed of making the bigs, which he ended up doing in showbiz -- culminating with his part as the judge in the Academy Award-winning Chicago. His previous movies include Naked Lunch, Possible Worlds and Laws of Enclosures, among many others. Recently, he was starring in "Miracle" alongside Kurt Russell. The film, which was shot in Vancouver, chronicles the true story of the 1980 US Olympic hockey team.
Sean McCann is a familiar face to Canadian audiences for having guest starred in many series including King of Kensington, The Littlest Hobo, Street Legal and Traders. His work on television has been rewarded on numerous occasions: in 1987, he received a Best Supporting Actor Gemini nomination for his recurring role in TVs "Night Heat" and at the 1989 Gemini's, he was honoured with the prestigious Earl Grey Award, which celebrated his entire body of television work. In 1999, he received his first Gemini Award for Power Play.
On Power Play, Sean McCann plays the role of Ray Malone.
